Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about working with Paradise Jewelry.

01

Project Scope

What is the difference between an OEM and ODM brief?
An OEM brief starts from your design or specification. An ODM brief starts from an archive reference that you want to adapt. In either case, record the changes, material direction, dimensions, packaging and sample approval requirements.
How should I use a product or model image as a reference?
State which features you want to retain or change. A photograph or illustrative wearing image is a visual reference, not a measurement or a guarantee of the final construction. Confirm fit and dimensions against the sample.
How do I identify the reference used in a quotation?
Include the displayed reference name, page link or image identifier. Ask for the supplier style code and approved specification in the proposal so the order remains traceable when colors or components change.
02

Materials & Finish

What should a material specification contain?
Record the intended base material, stone type, finish color, dimensions and any required material or test documentation. The proposed composition and finishing specification must be confirmed for the individual style.
How should color matching be reviewed?
Provide a physical or clearly identified color target and say whether it applies to stones, plating, enamel, cord or packaging. Agree the sample-review method before approving a coordinated color program.
Can a website description establish skin-safety or compliance?
A general description does not establish the composition or test status of a particular style. Request the relevant specification and current supporting documents for your product and intended market before approving the order.
03

Order Planning

How should a mixed assortment be quoted?
Provide the quantities for every style and color rather than only a total order quantity. Ask which development, packaging and production conditions apply to each part of the assortment.
How do I confirm whether a style is available?
Ask for the current availability, required production steps and schedule in the written proposal. A catalog image or archived reference is not a current inventory record.
What changes require the proposal to be reviewed?
Changes to design, material, finish, sizes, color split, order quantity, packaging or delivery date can change the proposal. Keep the updated specification and sample approval attached to the order record.
